BeepComp - Chiptune Creator is an app for composing chiptune songs similar to the ones heard in old games from the 80s. Songs are created using text commands in a text editor. The interface is simple. On the left is the edit area, and on the right is the control area, with a gain meter, progress bar, playback controls, volume control, and buttons to save or load projects from TXT files, create new projects, and export songs to three supported audio formats (wav, mp3, and ogg).

If you are having trouble writing text commands, there are a lot of sample songs included to get you started. There is also a more extensive user guide, which is available online and can be accessed by pressing the doc button within the control area of the app.Perfect for retro game development
